find myself enjoying new roles after retiring as the Eagle Crest
Designated Broker and a Team Sales Manager from 1985 until January
2001. After a couple of months of looking at all the museums in Central
Oregon, my wife, Annie Montgomery, told me to please get a job, so I
applied to Coldwell Banker/Mayfield Realty and was surprised to find
that I felt competent to specialize in Eagle Crest Resort resales. My
duties with Coldwell Banker allow me to focus on what I seem to know
best and that is representing Eagle Crest Resort property owners in
marketing their properties. Eagle Crest owners have become friends over the many years that we have worked and lived there. These relationships allow us to specialize in that area for our industry and you will notice that most of my listing arrangements are homes, lots, townhomes or chalets at the resort. I also enjoy excellent relationships with the sales staff and management at Eagle Crest and this results in benefits to our clients and us. My job description at Eagle Crest Resort included administrative supervision of over 15,000 transactions and I was also a member of the original Architectural Review Committee and Fairway Vista Board of Directors. I have some abilities and relationships that may be beneficial to you if you are looking for properties in Eagle Crest or Central Oregon. I understand general real estate and construction as a broker and a contractor. I'll express what clients should look seriously at once we determine the type of ownership that fits and almost as important, I can advise as to what types of ownership to avoid once I know what your expectations of benefits are. You will note several pages on this web site that were prepared to help you understand my methods of marketing, considerations for sellers and purchasers, statistical imput about area property sales and some of my personal philosophies about buying and selling real estate at Eagle Crest Resort. Visual aids are very helpful when you visit the resort and they are described in detail and available on request. The daily update links for the various products at the resort will allow you to determine properties of interest and of course, we are anxious to make appointments for showings for any of these properties. We have watched the resort grow from a dirt road and five foundations when we arrived in February, 1985 to several hundred homes, townhomes, 3 golf courses, swimming pools, tennis courts, hotel, convention center, restaurants and a commercial village most of which were never anticipated. It has been a wonderful trip for us, still is and we hope to share some of our knowledge and experiences with you. I've been fortunate to have directly sold over 1300 single family homes and been in a supervisory administrative capacity for thousands more. Our small team received the Coldwell Banker President's Elite Production Award in 2005, indicative of membership with Coldwell Banker's prestigious volume award for the top 3% of agents internationally. So I think I can offer judicial assistance to my clients or find the right answers from the good sphere of influence I have. My wife Annie and I have resided at Eagle Crest since 1989. Annie has been part of the Eagle Crest Communities family since 1985 and is presently the Sales Director for Brasada Ranch in Powell Butte. The vocation I have now is the most enjoyable one I've been blessed with and now with the partnering of three excellent Broker associates, it's less demanding, too.
